Upon leaving Inuvik we had assumed getting rooms in Dawson City once again would not be an issue, we were wrong.... It was Friday night and all the pipeline workers who were out at the camp all week were looking for a good time in Dawson City and had booked every room in town. We stopped at Tombstone Park to enjoy the view, we all agreed that this area was a highlight of the trip. Gorgeous views.

We decided to push on towards Pelly Crossing. It was a long day driving and we put close to a thousand kilometres behind us by the time we stopped to camp for the night. We had hoped to grab a bite at the Selkirk Centre in Pelly, but it was locked up tight. We used the light of their parking lot to cook some instant noodles and cut up a hoagie we had bought in Whitehorse earlier in the week and headed out to find a camping spot. We were all spent by this point, with warm food in our bellies we stopped at the first little pullout we found and quickly set up camp and were asleep in minutes. The next morning we made it to Carmacks and had a lovely big lumberjack breakfast at Carmacks.
