20 days to go!

Planning continues for the trip. The last few tools and supplies are being bought, cars are starting to be packed up, the route plan is in place, and more research is being conducted on where to stop and camp, buy supplies and get some exercise along the route. The plan is to take a different route home, veering off near Watson Lake in the Yukon and following the Alaska highway south through Alberta. Determining where there are gas stations along the route once we leave Whitehorse is a big concern. Currently many report being closed for various reasons so we will need to stay topped up and also carry enough fuel to ensure we don’t ever run out. We involved the kids in the last meeting and they are also very excited at this point. Playlists and podcasts are being documented to ensure we have a steady flow of listening entertainment along the way.

I am sure that Cher will be happy when the staging area moves out of the living room....
